EGYPTIAN NATIONAL SUBJECTS- ARABIC LANGUAGE, SOCIAL STUDIES IN ARABIC, AND RELIGION
Since we believe in striking a balance between the Egyptian and International cultures, teaching high quality Arabic Language, Religion, and Civics is a priority and a main objective of our school. Teaching Arabic starts from KG 1 to year 9. Students may choose to study Arabic As A First Language as one of the elective subjects in the Upper Secondary Stage. However, students do the Arabic Language, Social Studies in Arabic and Religion Tests in Y 10 and 11.
In Y 12, Students sit for the National Exams in the Arabic Language, Religion, and Civics (Thanaweya Amma).
Our approach is a very modern one in teaching the Arabic Language. Students use multimedia, videos, and all available teaching aids. Our students are also encouraged to do research in Arabic as much as they do in English and all other subjects.
Arabic Language, Religion and Civics are taught following the National Curriculum of the Egyptian Ministry of Education. All Egyptian students must pass the Arabic Language, Religion and Civics National Examination as a college requirement.
